  3. A 32 bit shareware program that sends alphanumeric messages to beepers
  4. up to 4000 characters in length.It can send this message to a single
  5. beeper or an entire group of pagers.PC Pager32 more like a message
  6. center for beepers that supports simultaneous multiuser shared database
  7. of pagers.Keeps records of the last page sent to each pager as well as
  8. the results of that page and timstamps it's delivery for later 
  9. reference.PC Pager will install two programs the paging interface
  10. which is "PC PAGER" and the database administrator "Alpha Editor"
  11. which adds deletes and changes the database.Alpha editor includes 
  12. built in utilities to compact,backup and repair damaged database.
  13. Can print database.Administrator has privacy feature to prevent
  14. unauthorized persons from getting pager information for selected beepers.
  15. PC Pager features auto signature,resend last message,and cut and
  16. paste operations great for relaying other documents like email 
  17. to beeper.

  22. 8 meg memory highly recommended.
  23. Sending pages requires a modem any speed will do as messages to beepers
  24. are by nature short 300 baud works faster than 9600 due to extra modem 
  25. negotioation time for 9600.

  34. PC Pager may be freely distributed in it's
  35. original form this file installation.txt and PC Pager_144_Disk1.zip
  36. and PC Pager_144_Disk2.zip either together in PC Pager32_V1_00.zip
  37. or on two floppy disks.
  38. PC Pager May not be distributed once the setup program has been
  39. run, only use the original zipped files for distribution.

  47. materials needed (2) blank 1.44 meg 3.1/2" floppy disks

  50. 1. Extract PC Pager_144_Disk1.zip to 1st Floppy disk.
  51. 2. label 1st floppy "PC Pager - Setup"
  52. 2. Extract PC Pager_144_Disk2.zip to 2ond Floppy disk.
  53. 4. label 2ond floppy "PC Pager - disk 2".
  54. 5. Insert floppy labeled "PC Pager - Setup" and double click setup.exe
